Privacy Policy

Overview

HelpMeParent apps are designed for parent-led family routines. Children should use these apps with parent involvement or supervision.

Our v1 apps do not require accounts or login. We do not collect email addresses, passwords, payment information, photos, contacts, or precise identity documents.

Apps Covered

This privacy policy is intended to be the shared privacy link for HelpMeParent apps unless a specific app provides its own separate privacy policy.

• Clothes for Tomorrow: helps families choose weather-safe clothing for children before the next day.
• HelpMeParent Sharing: planned as a family sharing and turn-taking routine tool.
• Future HelpMeParent apps: covered by this policy when they follow the same family-routine model described here.

Information Stored in Firestore

Family setup data is stored in Google Firebase Cloud Firestore. Depending on the app, this may include child profile details that a parent chooses to enter, such as:

• Child first name or nickname
• Avatar color
• Age mode
• Temperature sensitivity
• Readiness status
• Clothing preferences
• Routine preferences or turn-taking settings

Outfit choices, parent review state, readiness state, routine settings, turn-taking state, and cached weather may also be stored in Firestore so each app can support the family routine across sessions.

Weather and Location

Clothes for Tomorrow may ask parents to enter a weather location as a ZIP code or city/state. The app uses Open-Meteo and related geocoding or location lookup services to return forecast data.

The weather location may be sent to those weather and geocoding providers. Clothes for Tomorrow uses weather data to generate outfit recommendations, including weather-safe clothing options for the next day.

Cached Weather

The app may briefly cache weather forecasts in Firestore or temporary app storage to keep recommendations usable when live weather fails. Cached or fallback weather is used only to support outfit picking.

What We Do Not Do

• We do not sell personal information.
• We do not include advertising in v1.
• We do not include subscriptions or paid unlocks in v1.
• We do not use third-party tracking for v1.
• We do not collect email addresses, passwords, payment information, photos, contacts, or precise identity documents.

If analytics or crash reporting tools are added before launch, this policy should be updated to disclose what is collected, why it is used, and which providers process it.

Parent Controls

Parents can change or remove child profile information inside the relevant app. Deleting or resetting family data in the app removes the family setup and app state stored for that family in Firestore.

Children's Use

HelpMeParent apps are intended to be used as part of family routines, with parent involvement or supervision. Parents decide what child profile information to enter and can edit or remove that information.

Data Retention

Family setup and app state remain in Firestore until a parent changes it, removes it, or resets/deletes the family's app data. Limited temporary data may also remain on a device until the browser or app clears its cache.

Third-Party Services

We use Google Firebase Cloud Firestore to store family setup, child profile details, routine settings, and related app state. Google's privacy policy is available at policies.google.com/privacy.

Clothes for Tomorrow weather lookup uses Open-Meteo and related geocoding/location lookup services. These services receive the weather location entered by the parent, such as a ZIP code or city/state, so forecast data can be returned.
